Loughborough Lawn Tennis Club

Loughborough Lawn Tennis Club has been on its Ingle Pingle site for over 100 years. It enjoys an enviable secluded location close to the centre of the town and near the Leisure Centre. The surroundings host 7 hard courts with 4 of them under floodlights. An airdome covers 2 courts in the winter months allowing tennis to be played in all weathers. The clubhouse, rebuilt in 1997 with funding help from the LTA and Sport England, has excellent lounge, clubroom, kitchen and bar facilities. Non members can hire the facility under a committee members sponsorship.
The club has appointed InsideOut Tennis owned by our coaches Martyn Whait and Jonny Rudge to provide quality group and individual coaching all year round. Supporting them are three other qualified coaches Julie, Richard & Patrick. The top picture shows Martyn with Dave Phillipson who is ranked number 1 in the country and has great hopes of going for gold in the 2012 Paralympics.
In July 09 the club was granted CLUBMARK status which is the LTA quality accreditation endorsement.
