Facilities
We have 7 all weather courts, floodlights on 4 courts, an air-dome over 2 courts in the winter, practice wall, pavilion with both a lounge area and a large club room, modern changing rooms, kitchen, bar, access and facilities for wheelchairs, grass viewing/picnic areas and a large car park. The clubhouse facility is available for club socials but also for private hire. For example, bridge clubs and various U3A groups hire the club room but children’s parties and anniversary parties are entertained on occasion. Booking conditions are available on request
Club Play
Tuesday and Thursday evenings (summer only) from 6pm. Wednesday and Saturday afternoons from 2pm. There is also a privately organised men’s senior afternoon on Tuesday at 2pm. During the winter season squads are organised every evening to play in the air-dome. There is also a club slot at 7pm on a Tuesday and 11am on a Sunday which is free. The dome courts can be casually or block booked for the season by members, other clubs or private individuals. See the contact page links.
Coaching
Adult club group coaching takes place on a Saturday mornings, Tuesday mornings and Friday evenings but the coaches also run their own private squads at various times during weekdays. The coaching team also run starting Cardio and Active Together sessions in conjunction with Charnwood Borough Council.
Matches
The club enters 4 mens and 4 ladies teams in the summer Leicestershire Doubles leagues. We also have teams in the mixed, winter and veteran leagues. We enter mens and ladies teams in the Aegon Team tennis league (regional & county). For those who play there is a small charge to cover match balls.
Membership rates
£46 (Country Student), £53 (Half weekday); £86 (Novice & Student); £140 (Country); £165 (Full); £347 - (Family). There are various discounts available even on renewal but particularly for new members and multiple siblings! Junior membership is £44 and Mini membership £11.
Keys to the clubhouse, gate and floodlights can be obtained from the membership secretary for a returnable deposit
